Treatment Process

Initial Consultation

Your dentist will examine your teeth, take X-rays, and discuss whether a bridge is the best option for replacing your missing tooth or teeth.

Preparation of Abutment Teeth

The teeth on either side of the gap are prepared by removing a portion of enamel to allow room for a crown to be placed over them.

Impressions

Precise impressions of your teeth are taken to create a custom bridge that fits perfectly and aligns correctly with your bite.

Temporary Bridge

While your permanent bridge is being crafted in a dental laboratory, a temporary bridge is placed to protect the exposed teeth and gums.

Bridge Fitting

Once your custom bridge is ready (typically within 1-2 weeks), the temporary bridge is removed, and the permanent bridge is checked for fit and comfort before being cemented in place.

Aftercare

After your dental bridge is placed, maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice daily and flossing daily. Use a special floss threader or interdental brush to clean under the bridge. Avoid chewing hard foods or items like ice that could damage the bridge. Regular dental check-ups are essential to monitor the condition of your bridge and the health of supporting teeth. With proper care, your dental bridge can last 10-15 years or even longer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Patient Stories

"After losing two teeth in an accident, I was hesitant to smile. The dental bridge I received at Confidental Clinic has completely restored my confidence. The bridge looks incredibly natural, and I can eat comfortably again. The team was professional and thorough throughout the entire process."

Robert Collins

"I had a gap from a missing molar that was causing my other teeth to shift. The dental bridge has not only filled the gap but stopped the movement of my other teeth. The procedure was much more comfortable than I expected, and the result is fantastic. I highly recommend Confidental Clinic for anyone considering a dental bridge."
